K-Lab moving to University of Massachusetts, Amherst

Updated: Oct 25, 2020

We are excited to announce that Karatsoreos Lab will be relocating to the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences (https://www.umass.edu/pbs/) and the Center for Neuroendocrine Studies (https://www.umass.edu/cns/) at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst! The group will be part of the growing neuroscience community at UMass driven by the Initiative on Neurosciences (IONs; https://blogs.umass.edu/ions/). While we are really sad to leave our wonderful colleagues at WSU, it is energizing to consider all the new opportunities that will be available to the group at UMass, and the beautiful slice of New England that we will now call our home.

The move will be happening in January of 2020, and interested graduate students should explore the Neuroscience and Behavior (NSB; http://gpls.cns.umass.edu/nsb), the Organismic and Evolutionary Biology (OEB; http://gpls.cns.umass.edu/oeb), and the Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB; https://gpls.cns.umass.edu/mcb) programs, part of the Graduate Programs in Life Sciences. Dr. Karatsoreos is part of both programs, and the lab will be recruiting students for Fall 2020.

Those interested in funded postdoctoral fellow positions should send CVs directly to Dr. Karatsoreos, and take note for official job advertisements that will be posted soon, also for starting dates in Summer/Fall 2020.

More news soon!
