Pleased to announce that Scott's latest paper has been accepted at Psychoneuroendocrinology. The paper, entitled "Role of corticosterone in altered neurobehavioral responses to acute stress in a model of compromised hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis function", is part of his dissertation work that explores the consequences of disrupted hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis function on responses to stressors in the environment. Since disruption of the HPA is found in many different psychiatric disorders, understanding how this may exacerbate, or contribute to the development of, neurobehavioral effects such as anxiety and depression, his work is an important new piece of the puzzle. Well done Scott!
